AP / Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Marin County (near San Rafael)
Pay: Up to $35/hour
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

We are partnering with a mission-driven organization in Marin County seeking an AP / Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable (~70 invoices/week)
  • Handle employee reimbursements (up to 40/week)
  • Monitor and reconcile corporate credit card activity
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Support budget-to-actual analysis
  • Communicate directly with community members/parents via email regarding billing and inquiries
  • Assist with implementation of a new system (RAMP)

Experience:

  • Open to recent graduates or candidates with 5+ years of experience

Technical Skills:

  • Accounting fundamentals (AP, recs, JEs)
  • Intermediate Excel (pivot tables & lookups)
  • Experience with Blackbaud or RAMP is a plus (not required)
